Ideas can often come from anywhere, seemingly out of the ether sometimes. The reality is though, they come from being observant and widening your awareness of the world around you.

In my book, Zero To Keynote, and in my workshop of the same name, I cover ideation.

That section of the book is in this free PDF Download.

I've been called "The Ideas Guy" more times than I can recall, but generating ideas isn't something we're naturally gifted with (usually). Instead, it is part of a creative process - and can be learned through practice.

I've created a free "Generating Ideas for Conference Talks" guide with several methods I recommend for idea generation.

You could use these methods to generate ideas for conference talks, equally, you could use these methods for coming up with ideas for any other purpose too.

I use each and every one of these at various times, and they're all in the free guide.
